Wildlife Seminars
Participation
in a seminar is the first step to learning about Australian
wildlife. AJWCEF is planning to bring together Australian
and international wildlife experts, veterinarians actually
involved in protecting and rescuing wildlife, rangers,
researchers and wildlife carers and hold seminars and
symposiums around Japan regarding Australian wildlife and
wildlife and environmental conservation.
In
2009, the AJWCEF arranged for its Consultant, D.r Allan
McKinnon, Manager, Moggill Koala Hospita, and Team Leader,
Wildlife Management (Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services,
Environmental Protection Agency) , and Mr. Andre Mayne,
Counsellor (Agriculture), Australian Embassy, Tokyo, to give
presentations on infectious diseases in Australian wildlife
and animal quarantine in Australia, respectively, at the
Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University, Musashino,
Tokyo.
